Pete serves as one of the leading Emotional First Responders in the country and has created programs for groups including The United States Military Special Operations, the Navy Seals, the United States Army, victims and survivors of 9/11, the Sandy Hook and Virginia Tech shootings, and more.
He’s a sought-after speaker, and has been featured in dozens of local, national, and international media outlets.
When he’s not traveling, you’ll find Pete spending time with his wife and kids at home in Richmond Va.
Craig Shealy, Chief Executive Officer
Sometimes, life’s inevitable moments don’t truly hit us, until they hit home. After Craig helped his mom transition her parents into a continuing care community, then supported her as she managed the overwhelming estate process when they passed away, he saw a true need to help make this emotional transition easier. He just wasn’t 100% sure what the answer was yet. Then a mutual friend named Matt Paxton (you may know him from A&E’s hit show “Hoarders”) introduced him to Pete. As they say the rest is history. Or as Pete says: “Right people, right place, right time.”
A longtime entrepreneur, Craig has spent his entire 20-plus year career building businesses designed to help people. But it wasn’t until cofounding WayForth that he truly felt that lifelong mission come to fruition.
Before co-founding WayForth, Craig was Managing Principal for BlackCreek Group, helping fellow entrepreneurs get access to the funding and resources they needed to launch successful startups. The Princeton grad helped cofound various startups throughout his career and has covered operations, sales, business development, finance and strategy for companies including Nextel, Microsoft and Lehman Brothers.
When Craig isn’t working, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and kids in Richmond, VA, running 10Ks, and raising money and awareness in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
